Adult Language Programming 

• Develop curriculum and implement immersion language course for adult language learners using the Where Are Your Keys method
• Done for the summer. Will continue with a new cohort in September 2024

2024
Chilkat Weaving Workshop

• Implemented a 2-week beginner chilkat course for 5 new participants
• Will follow up with more opportunities for them to increase their skills
• The goal is to transfer the skills necessary for them to weave independently

2024
Transitioned from Dox Naahlx dip Niye'e Daycare Ltd. to Dox Naahlx dip Niye'e Maintenance and Revitalization Society 

2021 – 2022 
Chilkat Weaving Workshops

• Trained 5 new Chilkat Weavers through two workshops, the first being a one-month intensive and the second being a 2-week follow-up course
• First time the Gitxsan have made the effort to train Chilkat Weavers since a workshop that took place at ‘ksan
• First time having Chilkat Weavers in the Nation in 2-4 generations

 
2019 – 2021 
Dox Naahlx dip Niye’e Daycare Ltd. 

• Offered immersion childcare services to Gitxsan children aged 0-5
• Supported adult and parent language learning
