​Maintenance and Revitalization Society

Dox Naahlx dip Niye'e Maintenance and Revitalization Society offers programming dedicated to the maintenance and revitalization of Gitxsan language and cultural practices. 

The organization started as a daycare that offered immersion childcare services to children aged 0-5, while supporting parent language learning. In 2022 we closed the daycare and in 2023 we began teaching language focussed on increasing adult language proficiency and creating adult language speakers. 

We also offer programming focussed on re-introducing, revitalizing and maintaining cultural and artistic practice.
